NOMINATIONS FOR MSA 09/10

The MSA 2008/2009 has formed an Election Committee for
the purpose of electing the MSA Committee of 2009/2010.
This Election Committee is chaired by Faiz Najmi and
reserves the right to set the rules and procedures for
both the nomination and the election.

Posts to be contested:

1. Executive Board of MSA:

a) President (Only students of the 4th or 5th years
during the 2009/10 academic term are eligible for
this post).
b) Vice President.
c) Secretary 1 and Secretary 2.
d) Treasurer 1 and Treasurer 2.

2. Batch representatives (for students of the 2nd -
6th years during the 2009/10 academic term).


Procedures and Rules of nomination:

1. Only Malaysian students from the current 1st- 5th
years of Nizhniy Novgorod State Medical Academy (NNSMA)
are eligible to be nominated for the above mentioned posts.
2. All nominations are to be signed by the nominator and a
seconder. The nominator and the seconder can either be
the nominee himself/herself or another Malaysian student
from the current 1st-5th years. (An example is attached).
3. An eligible candidate can be nominated for more than one
post, but can only decide to contest for one post of his/
her choice.
4. The Election Committee will have to obtain an agreement
from the nominees to contest in the elections and will
announce the names of nominees once they are finalized.
5. All nominations should be forwarded either to Faiz Najmi
(Hostel 3-Room 420) or Galen Sha (Hostel 5-Room 202).
6. Nominations will be closed at 9pm, on the 17th May 2009
(Sunday).


Election:
1. Election rules and procedures will be announced together
with the final list of nominees.
